The first site I ever designed was for my family's miniature horse farm: Forthofer Farms, back when you still had to code every element and sites like Squarespace, Wordpress and Wix did not exist as what they are today. I was fifteen at the time.

Fast forward to 2022, and what started as a hobby has developed into a business I greatly enjoy. 

 

Now you may be thinking, what sets one web designer apart from another? Just as in any art form, their style, tastes and audience. Today, there's thousands of designers and it can be overwhelming trying to choose one who aligns with your goals and aspirations in business and can bring your idea to life. Or maybe you're even a little intimidated, as you don't have a design concept, only a business or idea. Maybe you don't even know where to start.

 

That's where I come in.

 

I've spent the last two years reaching out to nonprofits and small business owners to help them develop their online presence and serve as a launching board for revitalization and growth. Many of the customers I work with have sites they lovingly created, which are amazing in their own right, and are a great place to start, others, we start with a clean slate and an idea and create magic. 

 

Why do I do I focus on small business and nonprofits? Because I've been there. 

 

I've seen way too many people get taken advantage of by larger design firms and walk away with a subpar website they may not even like, that isn't what they had in mind when they started, and that they paid a small fortune for. That, or they spend the time and effort to create a site because the astronomical costs they were quoted just isn't feasible for their start-up, and now their site isn't driving business as it should be, so they get frustrated as who knows how many customers they haven't connected with. Or maybe they just go without because word of mouth is still a driving factor of business....
